We operate half-day and full-day guided freshwater fishing charters across some of Queensland’s best impoundments and river systems. Your Guide – Matthew Langford

Your guide, Matthew Langford, has been fishing freshwater systems since childhood and brings decades of experience and deep knowledge to every charter. Matthew understands freshwater fish behaviour — where they live, how they move, and how to consistently catch them.

  • Written extensively for fishing magazines and websites
  • Competed on the Australian Bass Tournament circuit
    • Won multiple professional tournaments, Angler of the – Year titles, and team events

Our Boat & Technology

You’ll fish from a 19ft fibreglass Champion Bass Boat, fitted with the latest GARMIN sounder and fishing technology. Powered by a 200hp Mercury Optimax and equipped with the Garmin Force trolling motor, this boat allows us to cover water efficiently and fish precisely.

The vessel is:

  • Fully compliant with 2E Survey certification
  • Operated under Coxswain Grade 1 NC certification
  • Equipped with all required safety equipment

You’ll learn a lot — and enjoy the thrill while doing it.

Fishing Gear & Tackle

All rods, reels, lures, and tackle are supplied. We’ll teach you when, where, and how to use each lure effectively for different conditions and species. You’re welcome to bring your own fishing gear and learn how to get the most out of it. We’ll show you how to optimise your setup and improve your technique.
